If you are planning to attend this year’s Grand Prix of Portland at Portland International Raceway, choosing where to sit can be exciting yet confusing, especially for new fans! Whether it’s General Admission or a Grandstand Reserved Seat, there are a lot of choices to make! Don’t worry, we’re here to guide you through the options and viewing perspectives with expert opinion.

Reserved Grandstand Seating on the event grounds are categorized into three tiers: Bronze, Silver, and Gold.

Bronze
Grandstands G, H, & J
All grouped together by the Start/Finish Line, you’ll get the best view when the green, yellow, white or checkered flags wave! These seats are also in the best position for off-track entertainment. Grandstands G, H & J are just in front of the Speed Zone, where you’ll find the Firestone Fan Village, Cooper Tires Stage, be able to browse retail booths and enjoy all kinds of different food stalls. Want to get up close and personal with the cars? You’re just a short walk away from the pedestrian bridge to the NTT IndyCar Series paddock and the Support Series paddocks.
Silver
Grandstands C2, C3 & C4
Get ready for action because these grandstands are situated right in front of the chicane - the highest action point of Portland International Raceway! You’ll get a nice view of Turns 1-6 and be within walking distance of the activities of the Speed Zone, bridge to the NTT IndyCar Series paddock and to the Support Series paddocks.

Grandstand K
Right in the heart of the Chicane, tucked away in the infield, you’ll find Grandstand K. These tickets sell out first, and for good reason! Sitting in these grandstands you will see the best racing in the highest action point of the track plus, you’ll have your own Paddock Pass to peruse through the NTT IndyCar Series paddock included in the price of the Gold ticket. These are the most coveted tickets on the site and WILL sell out, so don’t wait on purchasing yours!
General Admission
Grandstand P
Right inside the main gates is Grandstand P. From this vantage point, you’ll see Turns 9 - 12 well however, you’ll need to get to the Grand Prix of Portland early! Being the easiest grandstand to get to, the best (higher up) seats will get snatched up quick.
Grandstands A & B
A great view of turns 10 - 12 and the Support Series paddocks all-in-one! This set of grandstand seats is at the tip of the Speed Zone. You’ll find all kinds of entertainment, on and off the track, and delicious treats in this area.
Grandstands M
This grandstand may be located the furthest away from the main gates but not hard to get to with the handy shuttle service, and it offers a fantastic view of turns 4-8, depending on what side of the grandstands you are sitting on. Out of all the grandstands on the festival grounds, you will see the most of the track sitting here and in the midst of some of the best action!
Turn 11 Hill
Pick out your place early, because this hill fills up fast! Right in front of Turns 11 and 12, theres a grassy hill that fans are more than welcome to sit at. However, watch out for passing cars and shuttles - this hill is right next to the main roadway into the festival grounds.
Backstretch between Turns 8 & 9
A little bit of a hike, here’s where you’ll get to watch the backstretch. This general admission area is the least busy for foot traffic but, is a long way away from the rest of the festival. Make sure to bring your walking shoes or hitch a ride on our handy shuttles, looping the facility all weekend!
