The Customer Services Team will welcome guest as they arrive at the event in a courteous manner and check the authenticity of tickets as they enter the facility or paddock area and provide them with any ticketing information they may need.
Customer Service volunteers should also have detailed knowledge of the event, from the schedule of events to various landmarks within the circuit. Volunteers will also need to know the various on-track times, cross-over times, concert and air show times. Answer any and all questions regarding locations of concessions, merchandise, grandstands, restrooms, atms, First Aid, Lost & Found, Paddock Area, etc from patrons and vendors. Interact with spectators and guests to provide event information and direction and distribute on-site fan guides and other support series literature at various locations.
The Customer Services team may also be required to temporarily relieve other volunteers at their stations to cover breaks. A small break-off team will be in charge of the Credential Center, situated in an indoor air-conditioned environment and volunteers here will assist the credential center manager with the distribution of event credentials, parking and pit passes to staff, service contractors, sponsors and other qualified groups.
